Located 70 km northwest of Beijing city town, the Yanqing district is a little smaller than Luxembourg, has roughly 300,000 inhabitants, and will host part of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

With many impressive construction projects, the city of Yanqing is now distant by less than an hour especially thanks to the brand new high-speed railway connection that will be opened at the end of this year. A highway road is also, already over.

The new train station

This Yanqing region is also widely known in China for its ecological zone of protection and development and also for many historical and tourist points of interest.
Yanqing has, in the past, host many international events and is freshen up to be in the spotlight in February 20202.

Yanqing will be the adrenaline rush provider with bobsleigh, skeleton, luge, and alpine ski. All the infrastructures are on their way to get the last finishing touches and should be ready for the test-event that will happen next year.

VPI is already on-site and can communicate it’s last offer for accommodation on all the venues. We can also let you virtually visit the venues despite the temporary travel bans.
