The Alpine World Skiing Championships will be held in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, from February 7 to 21, 2021. 24 races for men and women will take place on the slopes of the mythical resort of the Dolomites in the most prestigious disciplines: Downhill, Giant, Super Giant, Combined.
Unfortunately, the verdict officially fell on January 15th, 2021 that the championships will have to be held without a live audience. The ski world had unanimously decided in 2020 not to postpone the event so as not to be confronted in 2022 with the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing.
They will nevertheless be broadcast worldwide on major television channels and the resort of Cortina will be able to test its organisation ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics, which it will also organise.

VPI is assisting its clients during this event, which will be a foretaste of the World Championships that will be held in France in 2023 by the resorts of Courchevel and Méribel.
