Panic wind over Japan and the Rugby

Typhoon Hagibis is on the way! As we arrive to the last group matches, two matches have already been cancelled, France/England and New Zealand/Italy. The inherent risks for teams and supporters prompted World Rugby (the international rugby federation) to remove these two matches instead of relocating them, which was initially envisaged.

The French Team, as well as the media and VPI, are therefore going directly to Oita in order to be on site while waiting for next Sunday’s final against Wales for the quarterfinal.

These changes have a big impact on the logistics of the media that VPI supports throughout the tournament and require a review of transport and accommodation arrangements. VPI is present to solve the problems resulting from these upheavals.
