The 2017 Tournament of 6 Nations was, as usual, a competition with suspense. The unbeatable pugnacity of the teams during the matches is a good omen for the next competitions.
The 2017 RBS VI Nations Tournament was exciting as ever, with an impressive English squad keeping its crown.
England won for the second consecutive time the 6 Nations 2017 this Sunday 19 March. However, losing to Ireland, England did not realize a second consecutive Grand Slam. At present, the English won six times in the 6 Nations in seventeen editions: a record.
The last match between Ireland and England at the Aviva Stadium was a good summary of an amazing edition full of suspense, fight and intensity.
VPI and the tournament: years of confidence and pleasure
VPI has been in charge of the French media around all the away fixtures of their national team for 10 years and we must say that it is always a great pleasure to assist TVs, radios, press angencies and newspapers for this highly traditional event.
Our ‘full’ packages include charter flights (with the French national team), tailor-made transfers, tour leaders and 4* hotels strategically located to allow the journalists to be present smoothly at the press conferences and the Captain’s run.
Mastering the vagaries of an agitated winter end …
February and March are difficult months in regards to social movements and bad weather.
Therefore we had to cope with delays and cancellations of flights following the storm that went through Northern Europe (Ireland-France in Dublin) but also to last minute cancellations of flights due to the strike of air-traffic controllers (Italy-France in Roma).
Anticipating and finding the solutions before the other passengers to ensure availibilities on alternatives flights were the main challenges of this Tournament in order to avoid anyone missing any press conferences around the different matches…
